This one-of-a-kind vintage wall clock was upcycled from the original Joni Mitchell Mingus jazz fusion, vinyl record, released in 1979. Like many of her albums, this one features her own painting on the cover, as well as inside the gatefold. The cover makes for a beautiful piece of functional wall art so now this amazing piece of music memorabilia can be admired and enjoyed 24/7 hanging on any room of your house or office! I was also able to salvage the artwork from the inside gatefold entitled "A Chair In The Sky" as a way of honoring Charles Mingus. This insert also has the lyrics to the songs on the other side and is included with purchase of this clock! Those who are Joni Mitchell lovers surely know the history of this collaboration album and its significance to her experimental jazz-centric works.
Quartz clock movement uses 1-AA battery to operate and has built-in hanger so it's ready to decorate any wall. Embellished with 12/3/6/9 and glow-in-the-dark features that allow the time to be seen at night. Is it memorabilia? Is it art? Or is it a clock? YES!!!
Great for Mother's Day gifts, Father's Day gifts, Birthday gifts, Anniversary gifts, Christmas gifts, or even something special for yourself! Decorate your game room, office, den, basement, living room, garage, man/woman cave or whatever your happy place is with Clock-N-Roll nostalgic clocks!
